Abilitex have just completed the exterior house of a London residential property in Barnet, London N20. Our job was to fully sand, rake out rotten sections of timber and apply wet rot wood hardener. Once cured for 24 hours we are able to apply wood filler and re-build areas using a 2 part filler system. We then sanded and moulded the filler areas, washed, prepared and painted the property, this was achieved by applying 1x primer to all bare and filler sections, 1x undercoat and 1x top coat of Dulux Trade Weathershield high gloss to all windows.
Our main focus was to prepare the windows fully, using our Festool and Mirka sanders we were able to gain the surface preparation that was needed to complete windows to a high standard that would be exceptionally weather proof for years.
